Alex R. Cummings TraineeTravel Award Application

Through a generous donation to the Alex Cummings Endowment, the Southern Alberta Cancer Research Institute is sponsoring Travel Awards to trainees who are presenting a first author abstract at a scientific meeting. Students are only eligible to receive funds once per year, and priority will be given to first time applicants. The trainee must show proof of registration for the conference or meeting and verification that his/her abstract has been accepted for presentation.  The amount available is $1000 per application.

The application deadlines will be May 1, Sept 1, and Jan 1. When an application has been approved for travel, payments will be made after the conference, upon presenting proof of attendance at the conference or meeting. A Scientific meeting includes a conference or meeting organized by a recognized national or international organization and is at the discretion of the awards committee.

You cannot save an application with partial entries, so please look through the requirements and ensure that you have all the information and documents you require for the submission before you start.
